I've been through so many different brands and styles of strings it'll make you sick. I was out buying new strings back in late 2004 and wanted to try something new. As I was looking I saw the Dime's and asked about them. They were exactly want I was looking for. I had tried the Dean Misfit's, all the different Ernie Ball's (Hybrid, Power, Beefy, Not Even Slinky) every kind that was lite mixed with heavy. I had also tried various other DR strings and enjoyed the quality but I wanted something with more of a crunch. When I found these I decided to try them because it was just a week or so after Dime passed (R.I.P.). So in honor of Dime, I put them on and was taken a back. They scream when your playin higher lead riffs, they sound like they're gonna rip your head when your playing heavy rhythm. I also couldn't believe how long the lasted and stayed in tune. These are the only strings I will play with and swear by. If you want something that will stand up to heavy playing but still rip lead parts, these are it. Try them for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
these strings are the best I've used yet. I've had the same set on for almost a year and they still sound as good as when i put em on. Solos and chunky riffs both sound good on these strings. You will not be disappointed.
let me just say that i've been jammin on these strings for almost 2 years. i have nothing but good things to say. if you jam out heavy riffs, or you play lead and do alot of harmonics these strings are for you. Dime knew what he was doin when he endorsed these strings, but believe me. these strings are the best. R.I.P Dime
