The SRX828S is equipped with dual 2279H 18" woofers featuring stiff, lightweight cones and ferrite magnets capable of moving lots of air. JBL constructs the SRX828S cabinets from durable, 18-mm plywood with powder coated, Onsidian, 14-gauge perforated steel and 8 recessed handles. The wide-raked stance provides stability on uneven surfaces and allows for splaying top enclosures at different angles. Indexed feet enable the SRX828S to stack securely with JBL's SRX800 loudspeakers in standard arrangements. With a total of four M10 suspension point the SRX828S supports installation in permanent venues or temporary setups for maximum versatility.

Tunings and Presets for Crown and dbx Gear

For simple setup and optimization, JBL provides tunings and presets for the SRX828S that are compatible with Crown I-Tech HD and XTI Series 2 amplifiers as well as dbx signal processors. Using JBL's HiQnet Performance Manager software, you can load the tunings directly into the amps and processors, allowing for precise control, monitoring and networking of your entire JBL loudspeaker system from a single interface.
