Arturia

collapse expand iconDescription

The Arturia Rotary CLS-222 is a model of the Dynacord CLS-222 (1982-2003), often celebrated as the preeminent Leslie rotary-speaker simulation ever manufactured. The Rotary CLS-222 not only produces the desired trippy spins and swirls, it also offers a choice between op-amp (crunchy) and tube (warm) preamps; stereo imaging from mono to super stereo; adjustable speed, balance and size and shape of the virtual treble and bass rotors; wet/dry mix; high-pass input filter and other essential sonic parameters. If you’re a bit timid about twirling and swirling, the Rotary CLS-222 offers “mix ready” presets for elements such as guitar, voice, drums, rock organ, jazz organ and more. There are also in-app tutorials available if you want to study some rotary-speaker performance and tone features, as well as an A/B comparison tool for ensuring you’ve chosen the perfect sound for your instrument and overall mix.
