MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
On May 1st, 2009, the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg websites will be updated with the addition of warranty URLs (e.g. www.mackie.com/warranty) expressing new A Stock warranty terms. These warranty URLs will go live on May 1st, 2009. Formerly, warranty periods for these LOUD brands appeared in a variety of locations – in product manuals (for Mackie and TAPCO) and on warranty cards and hang tags (for Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg). In order to streamline and clarify this process, Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg warranty periods and terms will be communicated in full on the warranty pages. Any LOUD products purchased prior to May 1st will bear with them the manufacturer’s warranty as predates the new policy. Moving through this transition, in order for customers to obtain warranty service, both the sales receipt and a physical copy of the (older) warranty statement will be required by our Service and Support departments in order to issue Service Requests, etc. If the product was purchased on or after May 1st, 2009, but a physical copy of the older warranty terms is not presented, the new warranty terms and periods will apply. Meanwhile, the products that bear with them the new warranty periods (as reflected in the box contents of each product) are being tracked by serial #, and contain new warranty content referring customers to the appropriate brand website. The information below reflects the product warranty periods that will be effective on May 1st, 2009 for the Mackie, TAPCO, Crate, Blackheart and Ampeg brands: Mackie: A 3-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on electronics and a 2-year, nontransferable, inclusive warranty on drivers (where applicable) apply to loudspeakers (active and passive), power amps, powered mixers, and HR studio monitors. Comments about Ampeg Portaflex Series PF-410HLF 4x10 800W Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Single PF-410 is strong and clear for practice and medium size rooms. I use (2) PF-410s in large clubs and blow people away. Built in horn shapes tone for every room.

Comments about Ampeg Portaflex Series PF-410HLF 4x10 800W Bass Speaker Cabinet:

This thing will shake the pictures off your walls. It has that classic Portaflex look and sound, but it is the size of half a small refrigerator. I am not kidding. I have had several 4/10 cabs in my life, but this thing is a monster. Seriously consider the size when you purchase. Also, something you should note, although it is a Portaflex titled model,it will not do that classic bolt and hide the head dealeo. Sadly, for the money, they don't give a head to cab cable either, unlike the package Portaflex head and cab deals. This is important to know, b/c I had to go out and by a 40 clams Speakon cable (not mandatory can use 1/4) after I received the Ampeg head and cab. (I couldn't play the rig when it arrived, and my music store is an hour away, which is why I ordered online). A little more than annoying, when I would figure that if you drop a grand on a cab and head that matches, they could at least throw me the cable. Especially since the videos show a cord that comes with the setup (the Porta package deals). Understand, there is no way you are just picking this thing up and throwing it in the trunk for a quick practice. While certainly not as difficult to move as an 810, it is no petite studio or parlor amp. The looks are awesome! The power of the cab is awesome. I am using the Porta 500 to drive it and it has plenty of power. I can't comment how the 500 would do with second 15 as I have not tried that yet. I will say that the looks and materials are awesome. It is just a classy solid cab. It comes with removable caster wheels, helpful. Again, you will not throw this thing around like the furry cabs of the 80s -90s. It is simply too pretty to abuse. All in all - COOL but heavy and huge.

Comments about Ampeg Portaflex Series PF-410HLF 4x10 800W Bass Speaker Cabinet:

By far the best set up I have ever owned! I put my portaflex series 500 watt head on top and it's a great match. Easy for traveling and playing shows and not as heavy as the 8x10 cabinet. If your are looking to do local shows and don't like the bulky-ness of getting the fridge setup, than I would definitely recommend this product. Ampeg has always put out great equipment and I have nothing but good things to say about their brand.

Comments about Ampeg Portaflex Series PF-410HLF 4x10 800W Bass Speaker Cabinet:

800 watts @ 8 ohms for [$] with Ampeg for a name brand, you can't beat this deal. I upraded from a behringer 1200 watts @ 4 ohms with a 450 Behringer head to all Ampeg. I play an American Fender 5 Jazz bass and a 5 string Schector. I haven't played my Schector yet but my Fender sounds great. I play a lot of gospel music from contemparary to quartet music(my favorite). So my sound will sound very different being in a mostly black environment. This is the real Ampeg Tone. I didn't have a chance to test the cabinet before I bought it. I was impressed with this cabinet. I use my Ampeg SVT- 4 Pro and it does very good with this cabinet. If you can't get the big "Fridge" or any 610 cabinet from Ampeg, this is the cabinet to get. It scared me with the price but get it before Ampeg goes up on it. The type of music I play isn't very loud, it call for a lot of bottom though, why not add some tone to your bottom. Bass players, get this cabinet. It also comes with casters that goes on and off! It's rear ported and sounds great. Get this cabinet!
