    I just recently began to add the uke to my list of instruments to play at performances. I have been a percussionist, harmonica player for years and wanted to add a new instrument/sound to some of the music my duo plays. My partner plays guitar and is the main vocalist. Just holding and playing the uke was a little clumsy for me without any support to help control its placement on my body. By using the strap, I now have a constant, consistent place to hold the instrument which makes the fingering much easier for a beginning player. We will be adding some uke songs to our set list when we start playing gigs again.
