First, Zildjian once again changed the design of their drumming gloves, so the gloves pictured above are NOT the ones you recieve unless they are an old pair. The old design left a black residue behind on your hands that is hard to wash off, and the new ones not only have the same problem, but they moved the right hand protective patches so they no longer line up with my thumb, which means I still get blisters playing. As others have noted, they also do not grip as much as other gloves on the market in the same price range. In fact, I would recommand buying the Ahead drumming gloves or even a pair of Easton batting gloves as they last about 3x longer and have better grip and comfort than these Zildjian gloves. I have contacted Zildjian about the residue issue and they basically told me to pound sand.

Zildjian Drummers Gloves

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

These gloves are good if your hands cramp up or get blisters. I use them for the grip so my sticks don't go flying.

Great gloves

By drum_line25

from Lodi, Oh

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

These gloves are great. I have owned other pairs but these ones are the the best gloves I have ever used. The have good grip, they breathe on the top through the mesh, and they also feel more natural than the other gloves.

Simply amazing

By Chris

from Spring, Texas

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

These zildjian gloves are astounding. Before these gloves I had never used drum gloves. In fact I used a pair of football reciever gloves for a couple years. These zildjian gloves however do the trick. They breath very nicely so my hands never get sweaty and they are very light weight and durable. I'd recommend these gloves to any type of drummer.

not bad, but...

By Ty

from Muncie, In

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

Pros: These gloves fit perfectly, and do just what they are supposed to do. The placement of the extra fabric is very good as well. Cons: Very little wrist support (could be a pro for some drummers). The gloves are thin, and the stitching is weak. I went through 2 pairs (in about 3 months/20gigs) before switching to the Ahead Gloves which I love! Bottom line, this is a cheap fix for those of us that don't like stick tape, and prefer a glove. But, there are better, sturdier gloves out there for just a little more green. Hobbyist, and casual drummers may find these gloves to be exactly what they need. As a touring musician, it didn't hold up to the demands of the road.

Good idea, but need to be perfected

By PearlExportNB

from Broadalbin, N.Y.

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

I purchased these gloves because my hands cramp up. After a few heavy plays the gloves will start to slip around. The padding on the thumb on mine is not on my thumb anymore. Otherwise the gloves are nice.

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

i am a very hard hitting drummer, so i got these gloves cuz alot of the drummers in my circle got them to prevent the blisters and cramps most church drummers i know get...but then the day i use them, the grip was wonderful, no cramping, they complimented the Vic Firth 5b Extreme sticks i love..but then something happened...one of the fingers ripped:(..so i was a bit angry that i thoguht i wasted 20 dollars, but i will get another pair..because of the grip and i hate blisters every week..lol

Love these gloves

By jtabares1

from Oklahoma City, OK

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

I have used these gloves for several years and they are great. I have a tendency to play loose, so my sticks occasionally go flying. These are also good for preventing blisters. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent

By S.B.

from Detroit, MI

Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

I first saw these gloves on a drummer named Ray Bady, they looked pretty sweet, so I wanted a pair. When I got em, my expectations were exceeded, they prevented the sweat from slickin' up my sticks, improved my grip, and people say "oh you must be a real drummer if you wearin' gloves" lol, like there arent any real drummers that DONT wear em. Only one criticism, I do wish they lasted a little longer. So if you can afford it, buy about two pair at once. Otherwise, its all good.
