Avedis Zildjian Cymbals
The original Zildjian series has shaped musical history, from Beethoven to the Beatles. With more weights and sizes than any other series, these cymbals excel in any musical setting. The world's most popular and versatile cymbal.
A Swish Knocker is a unique stick definition for funky ride beat with roaring overtones and sizzle effects.
Zildjian cast bronze cymbals are made from raw metal in Zildjian's own foundry through a complex sequence of heating, rolling, hammering and lathing. These cymbals are impervious to warping and have greater projection, clarity and durability than any others in the world.
All Zildjian cymbals come with the traditional finish. Some are available in a brilliant finish as well, call 1-888-590-9700 and ask for details.

Comments about Zildjian A Series Swish Knocker:
I already own an 18" china trash cymbal so I was unsure whether the swish knocker would be redundant. Nobody seems to have this monster in stock so I took a chance and ordered it. It arrived just in time for group rehearsal and it took me a few hours to figure out how and when I would use this cymbal... I absolutely love this cymbal as it can be used as a crash cymbal, a ride cymbal and for very special accents. The tone is quite deep, very penetrating and has a ton of over tones. The tones vary based on where you strike the cymbal and it can have a bit of a gong like effect. My son also plays drums so I had a chance to listen to it more objectively. What I like most about this cymbal is its versatility and the fact that it truly can be used as a secondary ride cymbal. And to think they almost discontinued the swish knocker. I read that Billy Cobham talked Zildjian into saving this beauty which they did and they've improved upon the original design.
