I saw a live band use ac30's and instantly knew that this was the sound from an amp i was looking for. i play various styles (mostly jazz) and play a prs custom 24 with hfs and vintage bass. musical heaven. enough said, buy this amp you wont regret it. the clean with the brilliant switch is redonkulous and when you blend it with the top boost it breaks up ever so sweetly.

Words cannot describe how amazing this amp is. I mostly play stuff by Queen, so I wanted to nail a Brian May tone, with this amp with my Treble Booster added in on the top boost channel, I finally nailed the PERFECT tone! In short, this amp is completely amazing!

Want a classic combo amp that you can get that ear mesmerizing Jimmy Page sound out of? Well here it is! Articulate, harmonic, ultra sweet cleans, and classic British crunch it's all there for your taste buds to enjoy. From low volume practice, to a full blown performance it does its job very very well!! My highest recommendation!

The AC30 is a perfect amp for practice, studio, or live performing. My '72 tele thinline with H-buckers screams, but I find myself playing my '95 Rickenbacker 360 most of the time. The amp is versatile, warm, and clean. Just wish I could stack the extension cabinet for a compact 4-12 package. Yeah, Harrison was a huge influence, but you don't have to look far to see how many players are using Vox these days.

This amp is worth every penny! It is very versatile, i play an american telecaster and a PRS...it sounds sweet with both. I also use a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 and a Tube Screamer through it and it really helps when your going for somthing with more drive.

I was recently playing on a Mode 4 Marshall half stack. Great sound but a little too heavy for my taste. I needed something that had a "balls to the wall sound." I needed something that would stand out in the mix. So, I started trying out different amps. I had my mind decided on a Fender Hot Rod DeVille. But, I decided to try a Vox. I was amazed at the sound that I heard. You can get that old vintage British tone and some of today's modern tones. If you're looking for an amp with a good overdrive, you might want to get a really good overdrive pedal. This amp mainly has more of a "crunch" feel. This amp sounds really good with a Visual Sound "Jackyl and Hyde" pedal behind it. Needless to say, I am happy choosing the Vox over the Fender.
