I spent a long time searching for that elusive solution to one stomp to control pedals, MIDI devices and amp channel switching. Coupled with the Ground Control, this switch can be configured to use or bypass your favorite pedals (in front of your preamp), operate your MIDI rack effects (for behind your preamp) and actually control your channel switching of your preamps. With a single stomp, I can switch to my high gain preamp, feed through my overdrive pedal, and switch to my G-Major's lead preset. No more stomping on three different switches every time I do something as simple as change to a lead tone.
The switch uses relays, so there's no degridation of the original signal as experienced with transistor switches. It's expandable, too... you can chain up to three of them together. I can't see ever having to redesign my rig again.

Waited for GCX switcher to add stomp boxes to my live set up!
As a professional musician always used high end rack gear but always have appreciated some stomp box pedals and what they add to your sound either at the front end or through the loop. I have been avoiding that kinda set up because I did not want to mess with switching pedals in and out when I have the perfect rack gear for my basic sound that is midi controllable. Besides I neither did not need the additional noise in the signal chain. With the help of GCX switcher I now have combined my stomp box edge with my fully midi controllable rack sound. Result .. you get the SRV leads while you are still playing through your clean channel on your amp, boost a little and get somewhere-in-between driven sound for endless sustain while still remaining in that clean range. Get stomach tearing high gain rythm channel pushed even more for those dimebag sounds or pleasant JPetrucci rythm. and choose a total different front end push dedicated to your lead guitar patch. Take different Eqs in and out of your loop for dedicated customized sound for each channelon your amp. LOVE THIS TOOL! If you haven't found your perfect amp , rack effects and stomp boxes and your sounds And..already own them you don't need this yet! One more thing ..you have to have the Ground Control from Voodoo Lab with this thing to achieve things I mentioned above.. Ground Control allows you to do all of the above with a single button push operation.
