The Visual Sound GarageTone Chopper Tremolo pedal nails the trem effect with near perfection at an incredibly low price. The Chopper Tremolo pedal uses an expensive opto-isolator and carefully designed analog circuitry to work its sonic magic.
In addition to the usual Speed and Depth controls, the Chopper Tremolo also has a unique Wave control that alters the overall feel of the effect. Last but not least, there's even an LED that blinks in time to the tremolo stompbox's speed.

I recently was tempted to plunk down about $1500 on a vintage tube amp from the early 60's...but passed I got curious about pedals that could effectively mimic the beautiful reveb/tremelo tones thru my Marshall.. I'm VERY satisfied with the sound of this $70 pedal....combined with my MXR Carbon Copy....I've got all the vintage sounds I need You will not be disappointed....swampy....tremelo... Lastly...follow the links to get to the demo that provides very convincing examples of the tones you'll get...
This pedal has everything you could want or need in a tremolo pedal at a GREAT price! It has the normal speed and depth controls, plus a wave function, and the LED light flashes with the speed. The sound is very natural. Visual Sound knows how to make a great pedal and the Garagetone ones are no exception. You need a tremolo pedal, get this one.
this tremolo is amazing.... it wont let you down, many people think that this pedal sucks because they see its lower price but it is one of the best tremolos ive tried, yesterday i compared it with the EHX pulsa tremolo and i realize that the chopper tremolo has a more real sound, it doesnt do that crazy kinda weir sound that you get with other tremolos unless you kill yourself finding the right sound... so this pedal is everything a tremolo should do
