I've had this for several weeks now and I've had absolutely no extra hum! I don't get what everyone is complaining about. I am powering 8 pedals right now, often with like four on at the same time. No issue. I guess if you had lousy wiring you might run into trouble, but you'd have to be in Haiti or something. Anyway, works great. Highly recommend.
I bought this a couple years ago on a whim, and it hasn't let me down. The whole thing is solid, And I can just roll it up, toss it in my gig bag, and be on my way with out any worry. I've have heard some people complaining about hum, but I so far haven't had any. I use it to power a Ibanez Weeping Demon, a Zoom 510 Dual Power Driver, a Digitech RP50, a Boss DS-1, and a Fender battery powered Mini Tonemaster amp, and it works great for all of them. I've done multiple gigs with this, and countless practices and jam sessions, and it's still as solid as day one. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to power multiple pedals, and don't have the money to shell put for multiple adapters, batteries, or those expensive Dunlop and Voodoo Labs multiple power sources. This gets the job done cheap.
I've been using this power supply for a year now. I was tight on money at the time and I needed a power supply. This was great for the price and what it does. It powers all my pedals because they're all 9v. The only thing that annoys me is I don't have 8 pedals but the spare plugs are hot and any time they touch metal or anything conductive, all my pedals go crazy. Yeah, This is an easy fix with some electric tape but with the active spares you get a lot of extra, unwanted noise. Like I said before I've been using this for a year now, so it definately does its job but just like with everything else in life, you get what you pay for.
