i have used every stick under the sun and after i played one gig with these i will never buy another stick they have a perfect weight and a really nice feel on your hands! the wooden ends don't make it to tingy when you play smaller venues the only thing i don't like is that they smell really bad when you buy them i think it is some type of lacker lol it gives you a little headache but it goes away after a day or 2 i would highly recommend these sticks!
these are by far the best drum sticks i have tried, they are light so you can move around the set quickly and they give great rebound. i've tried the other sticks but these are more functional i think...
I have been drumming since i was a freshman in high school, and there is no better set of sticks out there. Perfect balance and reach whatever your placement your set. I tend to use the nylon tipped ones because in my opinion, they seem to have a crisper cymbal sound on rides and high hats. The original signature pair usually made my hands sweat because of the lacquer, but not these babies. they have a much thinner coat and better rebound as it makes it lighter. Trust me, once you use them, you will never use anything else i promise.
