  • Great sticks

As reviewed by Tim on 7/6/2015

In my several decades of drumming I have used all different stick manufactures, sizes, shapes, materials, prototypes etc etc. I have been using these sticks for over 15 years and wont stop anytime soon. Probably never. My style is very heavy handed but with a lot of dynamics. I have larger hands so the combination of a larger back end and small tip allow me to be aggressive with out being annoying...or so I like to think...and also allows me to bring it down when I have to. And I MUST give props to the feel and finish of Vic Firth sticks. They just feel good in your hands. Well balanced and silky smooth. Bravo Vic Firth take a bow and a rim shot...

  • SD2 Bolero Wooden Tip

    As reviewed by E. S. on 11/26/2010

I usually play Easton Aheads but for wooden sticks I use SD2 Boleros. Their tip gives pinpoint accuracy on cymbals and snare. They are maple so they are not as durable as hickory but they are much lighter and feel really good. It is a great stick for lighter styles, go with the SD1 General for Rock...

  • Amazing Sticks

As reviewed by Drummer_tee on 12/15/2008

I recently started playing with vic firth sticks and let me tell you, they're the best sticks i've used so far. These are very well evenly spread and the sound of maple hitting cymbals is awesome. very durable and hard hitting. i recommend these to anyone in the rock genre.
