    Comments about Vater Monster Brush:

I got a pair of these Monsters when they first came out. I use them in lot's of different applications. Live they are great for those ballads that needs a fat snare sound without a full out stick sound. In the studio they are great for the same purpose as well as those "train beat" type songs. The real beauty is the little bands that move up and down the length of the brush. For a "Fatter" sound just move the rings until it is more wrapped like a set of rods. For a more "brush like sound" move the ring all the way back and enjoy the extra contact with the drum while still getting a great brush sound. (Think "Fire and Rain" by J.T.) Put a set of these in your stick bag and experiment to your hearts desire.

      Comments about Vater Monster Brush:

these brushes are great. I have used them for two separate songs where I play a train beat on the snare and it sounds amazing. I have also used these on the cajon and they get great ones there as well

      Two Brushes

      Comments about Vater Monster Brush:

I was buying these brushes as a gift and since the item is called Monster Brush (singular) I decided to chat with a guitar center customer service person to see if I needed to order two or if it came as a pair. They told me it was one brush so I ordered two. Turns out it was a pair of brushes so I bought more than I needed.
