These sticks last way longer than Hot Rods and are well worth the higher price. They have a slightly louder tone at first when they are still stiff, but after a couple of sessions they loosen up. Great for live small acoustic sets.
These are a cool variation on the split-sticks. The plastic tones the volume a bit more, but you still get the weight of the wood. The rubberband also allows you to adjust the tension of the dowels...a nice addition!
Terrible weight, Nothing compared to pro-mark, yeah the plastic will allow them to last long, but pay the extra for the better sound and stick to pro-mark they have a much better feel
