The Pro 1-V beater head may be attached anywhere along the length of the shaft. This feature allows quick changes of vertical placement as well as beater angle, giving you greater flexibility with different bass drum diameters. This feature also allows the weight to be placed above or below the beater head. The Pro 1-V beater also has a removable face, so different surfaces can be installed in seconds.

Comments about Trick Pro 1-V Detonator Beater:
These are literally the best beaters I've ever used. I've used Tama Iron Cobra beaters (both felt and rubber), all Pearl beaters, DW felt and HardCore beaters, and both the Axis Longboard stock beaters and the sonic hammers, and my most recent were the Danmar Wood Beaters. The Pearls aren't really great beaters because they're too light and the don't give enough of a punch; the DW beaters are mediocre, but are also way too light; the Axis stock longboard beaters are pretty good and so are the sonic hammers, but neither are heavy enough to give a good punch and they're both not that well built; the Tama Iron Cobra felt weren't great because they didn't sound good (muffled and uneven), and the rubber beaters were pretty good, but would get stuck to the bass drums in a lot of heat and humidity; and finally the Danmars, which I've loved for over a year now, were almost exactly the right weight and gave a great punch, but mine began to crack at the top where the shaft tightens in and they were so hard that they were beginning to break my bass drum heads (I use Remo Ebony Pinstripe Bass heads, they're double ply so they shouldn't have worn out as fast as they did). I really was very happy with the Danmar beaters, but when I realized that they were breaking and damaging my heads, I decided to try these. By the way, I use Axis Longboard pedals for two bass drums, so I can really feel the difference in the beaters I use. I was skeptical at first because they're expensive and look quite a bit like the Axis Sonic Hammers, but I ordered 2 Trick Pro 1-V Detonator Beaters about 5 days ago and they just got here yesterday. I have to say, I was amazed! The guitarist in my band came over and we played one of our songs twice, the first time with the Danmar beaters I was already using, and then the second time with the brand new Trick Beaters. After switching to the Trick Pro 1-V Detonator beaters, I couldn't believe what I was hearing and feeling! Not only were they weighted better (the swing I got out of them was unbelievable and the peals stuck to my feet at higher speed a lot better because they were better weighted), but the sound they produced was the best Id ever heard from my bass drums. After playing the song, which is mostly switch-offs between 1/8 notes and 1/16 notes at 260 bpm, I was not nearly as tired as I had been when playing the Danmar Wood Beaters and I was so much happier with the sound that I immediately wanted to play again. These are by far the best bass drum beaters I've ever played or heard of!!! They're incredible! If you have the money, get these beaters!!! You'll never want to play anything else!
