  • Nice Teley For A Great Price and It DOES have a Finish On The Neck

As reviewed by Tony Martins on 12/12/2011

Surprisingly, this is a really nice little Teley. Depite what one reviewer claimed, the neck DOES HAVE a finish. It is a Satin Polyurethane Finish. The neck is NOT raw unfinished wood. The Satin finish can feel like there's no finish at all, because it has such a smooth, more natural feel to it. I love the neck on this Teley. The fingerboard is nice and I really dig the 7.25" radius. The frets require a little attention, but overall the playing action is very nice. I suggest auditioning/playing two or three of these and finding the one that is best. Sometimes inconsistency will arise with these Squier guitars.

  • out of the box

As reviewed by john martin on 4/11/2011

not a guitar player for a major touring band, but do like to play while i watch tv, opened box pluged it in happy with what i got, the tone is great, like the neck! and if it warps like some of these folks are saying, will replace with birds-eye maple, then i will have a good guitar with an awesome neck!

  • Wonderful Telecaster

As reviewed by D. Boyte on 9/28/2006

Nicely done Squire! This is a great guitar. The medium jumbo frets are nicely dressed,no sharp edges. It has two Duncan designed P90 pickups that are really hot.I got the vintage blonde finish. The black custom pickguard is really unique.First class craftsmanship all around.Seperate volume and tone for each pickup. If you want a nice Tele you can't go wrong here.
