Spring

By Cody Stringer

from St. Charles

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs SPC08 Pro Drop Hi-Hat Clutch:

It's a good clutch to get used to because of the lever tightness, but the spring is too tight so you have to hit the lever really hard. It was also a good way to kick yourself because it's good as the price. The Gibralter version is way better I've heard and it's half the price.

Dissapointed

By Brandon Gonzalez

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs SPC08 Pro Drop Hi-Hat Clutch:

I will start by saying that I have been playing drums for about 15 years and this is my first experience with a drop clutch. For me it is pretty hard to drop the hi hat using a stick which for me makes it worthless. If I cant depend on it working the way it is supposed to then there is no way I can use it on stage. I will be trying the Gibralter and the Pearl and see which works better.

sometimes it works other times it doesnt

By Ryan

from pittsburgh pa

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs SPC08 Pro Drop Hi-Hat Clutch:

one thing i dont like is you have to have the hi hats open ALOT for this to even work. and i mean like a inch gap between the 2, and when I hit the clutch, it doesnt even drop it. it takes like 3 hard hit and it finally drops. and if ur a metal player, like fast rock music, it randomly reattaches itself and becomes open im going with the DW.
