  • More than 2 years and going strong!

As reviewed by Tara on 2/11/2011

I have had this mic for almost 3 years, now. This mic lasts thru sweat soaked spin classes. It is used at least 5 times a week. The sound is great and the price is awesome, considering my employer offers a simular mic to it's employees for $100! It's the little mic that will not quit! A screen is always used and I place the unit in a plastic bag after use. The absolute best thing is that I don't have to share germs with the other instructors!

  • Shure PG30TQG Cardioid Condenser Headset Mic

As reviewed by Wayne on 2/24/2009

I finally made the step towards quality wireless gear. I got the "Shure PG30TQG Cardioid Condenser Headset Mic" to complete my two channel PG288 system with the shure handheld on one channel and either this headset on the other or the lapel. Considering my old Nady Headset, this Mic is amazing. Really too good to compare. I recommend it. I use it while I'm DJing and I can interact with the crowd like a dance instructor if I feel like it.

  • Doesn't hold up

As reviewed by Jen on 7/6/2009

I hope this one I just ordered lasts longer than the last one. I have no choice in the matter of what mic to purchase because I have to use the one that works with the system the gym uses that I teach at. My last one lasted max 8 months. And you could not take better care of the mic than I do. I always use the wind screen and always remove the wind screen as soon as I am done teaching. Make sure the mice is not sweaty and put it back in the box for storage. After maybe 8 months it started not working. I would just quit half way through class. I was so new and so well taken care of I didn't dream it could be the mic. I thought it was the clubs abused system. NO, after a process of elimination it was the mic! I only wish I could figure out what to do to make this one last longer.
