Shawnee Press Benedicamus Domino 2-Part composed by Greg Gilpin

This original concert work written by Greg Gilpin was commissioned by the Ohio Music Educator's Association and is energetic and stunning in its multi-metered writing. The Latin setting moves from crisp rhythms to legato sections, unison to homophonic singing. A wide range of dynamics is used throughout and the percussion adds excitement with the syncopated piano accompaniment. The addition of a flute adds sparkle to this outstanding concert selection available in multiple voicings.
