      Seymour Duncan SP90-1N Pickup (300417)

It doesn't get more vintage.

Introduced in 1937, the P-90 Soapbar's distinctive gutsy sound make it Gibson's most popular single coil pickup. The wide body had a coil with long outer turns for greater capacitance and a smooth, powerful response. Seymour Duncan faithfully duplicates every detail in sound, construction, and appearance in this vintage model.

Seymour Duncan SP90-1N Pickup Features:

  • Pre '57 Les Paul Junior sound

  • Vintage!

As reviewed by Franco on 4/18/2011

It has that vintage sound we all love and look for. It handles hard rock quite well, and it has a lovely sparkle when using it in a clean channel. I'm quite happy with it, it does exactly the sound I was looking for. It is obviously not for metal or that kind of genres, otherwise you'll love this pickup.
