Comments about Sennheiser e935 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone:

I purchased this microphone at the GC in Raleigh, NC. When I ran it through several soundchecks against other microphones in the same price range, it was clear that the e935 was a "big" winner. The sound is robust but had the same level of detail as the Beta 87a condensor. As a matter of fact the two (2) mics sound identical in a performance setting as well as studio setting. This is a clear "10" in my opinion. This microphone is worth considering for professional use.

Comments about e935 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone:

I love it! This mic has excellent clarity and punch! My vocals are coming through much clearer now! After singing into this mic for a little while, I actually found my old dynamic mics to be a little fuzzy and flat sounding with certain consonants (F's, S's, T's, P's) so much that I was compensating for them vocally by shaping them differently or singing away from the mic. With the e935 I can lay right into it all the time and all of my consonants are coming through crystal clear! It's so nice that now I'm retraining myself to sing normally and I'm enjoying the difference in the quality of my vocals! Get this mic!

I own 2 935's and 1 945 I've been a pro musician for years. I writing this review 5 years after purchase and absolutely NO negative issues with these mics. I also run a small sound company on the side and have a bit of everything in my mic case. EVs, Sure 57s & 58s and AKs. The 935 and 945 are the absolute best vocal mic out there period!! These mics have been used in just about every music venue imagined. From small coffee house's to large fest events. These mics have out preformed everything else!!

Comments about Sennheiser e935 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone:

Over the years I've basically used 3 different types of vocal mics - Shure Beta, Shure Sm58, and the Sennheiser e935. In every scenario the Sennheiser e935 blows the other two way. It's ability to cut through all other instruments is unparalleled. The mic is extremely balanced and never sounds thin. It's extremely durable and seems to last forever. If you clean it and keep it stored as it should be, you'll be able to enjoy it use after use. It's well worth the money. I've played in rock bands, grunge, Christian, Blues, Country, dueling pianos, and several other settings, and I use the e935 every single time without fail.

Comments about Sennheiser e935 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone:

Best vocal mic I've ever used. I've performed with it solo, in an acoustic duo (current situation) and in a full band. The e935 comes through in all situations. I also have a Neumann KMS135 condenser mic that I got based on reputation. The Sennheiser e395 sounds better in side-by-side comparisons. My current music partner has the standard Shure SM58. Whether we're using my PA (a Bose L1 Mod II) or his, we always have to turn the Shure up higher for "equal" levels and the Sennheiser still sounds crisper/clearer without as much background noise. This is the mic for anyone who wants to exploit the full potential of their voice on stage.
