Do yourself a favor and buy this mic!

By Eric

from Evansville, Indiana

I have waited almost a year to write a review on this microphone, mostly because I wanted to give a thorough review versus the excitement of the first five minutes of use. In my situation, this microphone is being used in a lead singer capacity of a southern rock/blues band. In terms of use, I use it at every practice and it has/will be used at every venue we play. I've logged about 500 hours of usage thus far and I can say with all certainty that we'll never buy another brand of microphone. This microphone clearly picks up certain sounds that my old (Shure) SM58 would miss. My voice sounds so much bigger with this microphone and feedback is no longer an issue once we replaced our mics with these Sennheisers. This mic far surpassed my expectations and even though it costs a pretty penny you certainly get what you pay for with this mic. I love the look and feel of this mic and it has never let me down. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this microphone.

So real. So beautiful. Absolutely no mud. On incredibly loud stages, the e945 is good to have as well, because its super-cardioid, whereas this e935 is cardioid. Super-cardioids fight penetrating side noise like drums, whereas regular cardioid would need to stay at least 3-4 feet away from drums usually. Both mics are absolutely wonderful. Stop looking for mics on mic reviews. If you have a good voice, and want the mic to accurately pick up how you sound, then you're done, this is your mic. This and the e945. When you get one, you'll want the other. Seriously.

Senheiser E935 microphone

from Schaumburg, IL

We really enjoy the clarity from this mic, for both performing and home recording. The price was within our price range, with WONDERFUL SOUND! It is usually used hand-held, and not too heavy. It has a nice design, not clunky. We also would like to comment about the great service of the GUITAR CENTER employees at Arlington Heights,Il. Thanks, guys! Jan and Gino Soundz Of Time

SENNHEISER e935 Microphone

By Mick Shade

from DeRidder, Louisiana

This microphone is outstanding. Like many people I have used mostly SHURE SM 58 and SM 58 beta microphones for live performance. The e935 delivers dynamic clear performance and cuts through better than the aforementioned SHURE microphones. Still love SHURE microphones, don't get me wrong, but the e935 is the best live performance microphone I have ever used...........

Great for female vocals

By PatK

from Middletown, Ohio

This mic was recommended to me on a live sound forum. I was using an Shure SM58 and just wasn't being heard. I switched to this mic and boy, what a difference! It's so much easier to be heard and not have to strain. Thanks Sennheiser!

No going back!

By KJPaul.com

from San Francisco, CA

I run 4 karaoke nights a week, so my mics get at least 24 hours a week of active stage time every week. The singers ranger from amazing to...well, it's karaoke and some people know how to use a mic, but many mumble or sing with the mic too far from their mouth. I try to do the best I can for them and this mic makes a HUGE difference. Like the e835 It is much more sensitive than the SM58 yet offers amazing feedback resistance, which allows me to turn the gain up or down to meet the singers level way better than the SM58 does. Then it goes from a rumbling low to falsetto like butter and makes even the e835 sound flat. The sound is more rich than hot and it just sounds good. Yes it is a lot more expensive, but I am never going back!
