Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Studio-4 Left-Handed Bass:

The Stiletto Studio 4 LH is my upgrade from a SX Ursa 1 LH entry level bass. To compare the two wouldn't be fair (or right). The Studio 4 was the bass I never knew I always wanted... till I got one. The guitar itself is gorgeous. The satin honey bubinga finish is beautiful. The satin gold metal bits perfectly accent the looks.

Out of the box, the guitar was out of tune, but once tuned didn't need any intonation adjustment, or truss rod adjustment, and was literally 'ready to play'. I raised the action a tiny bit to suit me, but wasn't necessary.
Nice detent for mid settings on the active EQ pots, and a wide range of tone/sound possibilities are possible.
A truly enjoyable bass to play.

A huge plus for me is the "thin C" neck. Much less of a stretch to the E string and a lot more comfortable down low overall which makes practicing longer, easier. I've only been playing a bass for a few months,
and it's still blatantly obvious to me how a well designed guitar makes a big difference. I can't thank Schecter enough for keeping us Southpaws in mind.

    A Great Lefty Bass!!!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Studio-4 Left-Handed Bass:

its hard to find a good left handed bass and this is a Great one! I've had it for a year and its by far the best bass i've ever played! The EMG pick-ups sound perfect and the fret board is nice and sleek. I play a lot of different genres and a lot of live shows and it plays very well through all of that. So if you're looking for a great (warm) sounding bass then you're in luck!
