Schecter includes locking tuners and a locking TonePros bridge on the Hellraiser Avengerâstandard features usually reserved for electric guitars costing far more.

I've been playing guitar since I was 12, and I'm just about to turn 16 now. This is guitar is the best one I have. This guitar is better than my other Schecter guitar as well. The EMG's on this thing shread. I play all styles of music, from grunge nirvana stuff, too melodic death metal children of bodom stuff and it does it all. The harmonics just pop from amp. Seriously though, it's perfect.
this is by far the best guitar i have played, and ive played every brand all the way from fender to esp. the shape, the pickups, the bridge, everything comes together in this awesome guitar. the emg's are especially awesome, offering acoustic-like cleans to thrash metal distortions. even the black cherry finish is jaw-dropping. i COMPLETELY recommend this guitar to ANYBODY
Honest to god, it beats anything I've ever tried. I picked this up at the local music shop at around ten in the morning, and couldn't put it down until six later that day. The next is perfect; thick enough for a good grab, but thin enough for the fastest shredders. Unlike on a lot of guitars, the Avenger doesn't tease you with it's upper frets; a huge cutaway makes it easy to play on the 23 and 24th frets. The EMGs are stellar; at high gain, their tone is massive, and it's clear why all the metal giants use them. Turn down the overdrive a little and dial up a drop of reverb, and you can make blues like BB King himself. The body is radical in shape, yet oh-so-comfortable; perfectly balanced on your thigh and so natural both sitting and standing its like the strings are floating in the air. I could pay $750,000 for this, and it'd still be a steal.
I've been playing guitar for close to 8 years now and this schecter is easily the best guitar i have ever played. its beats the livin tone out of any les Paul or Prs. the sustain is wicked, you can hold any note for forever. The tone it gets out of the EMGs is nothin short of incredible. playability is ridiculous as well as construction. so much thought was put into this guitar, the way the neck is setleaves nothing to get in the way of your flyin fingers unlike a clunky les Paul. great dynamics the emgs are perfect for finger tapping and harmonics. you cant find a better guitar. very well priced for the quality.
I had just gotten a Hell Raiser right before guitar center had taken the guitar off the site and it would have to be the greatest guitar I have ever played on. What I really appreciate about Shecter in general is that they pretty much give you everything you need in a guitar that you will need, such as tuning pegs and pickups for a really good price unlike brands like gibson that set you up with a good guitar "Explorer, SG" But they are over priced by alot. KRANK RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
