Comments about Road Runner RR2EB Boulevard Series Bass Guitar Gig Bag:

Very recent purchase (about 45 days ago). What you see in the photos is what you get. No surprises. Handles my Jazz bass very well. Padding, handles, straps and zippers were better than other bags I looked at within the same price range. Black body with silver/grey pockets looks pretty snazzy! Red/white star pull tabs for zippers look good, too. Pockets are very roomy. I can store/haul much more in this than I can in my hard case with storage pocket. Was lucky in that when I was looking it was on sale for $10 off, so only $10 more than the Avenue bag, but with more and better pockets, padding, etc. No brainer which to buy. I haul my own instruments so no threat of someone else throwing it around. If you have that situation I would recommend a hard case.

Comments about Road Runner RR2EB Boulevard Series Bass Guitar Gig Bag:

Good quality bag. The zippers, while plastic, have a good feel and operate smoothly, the padding is good, and the handle is at the right balance point, and the shoulder straps adjust easily and tuck away without much effort. It fits my Fender American Jazz (barely, as all bags seem to), and accommodates my fleet of Precision-style basses with no problem. The pockets are good sized, although whoever put the MacBook in the pocket for the pictures either hates his bass or doesn't have one in the bag, as that banging against the bridge and strings could still cause issues, even with the extra padding there. The pockets at the head stock will only get used for lighter/softer things, as you wouldn't want anything banging against the tuning pegs/keys.

I haven't seen any bags with pockets where they would be against the back of the body of the bass, where you could put something bulkier, but that's the only suggested change I would have.

Except for the mobile device pocket, which is too small for most modern phones (my iPhone6 Plus has no chance of fitting in there).

Overall I see this as my primary gig bag going forward, and until it wears out (many years down the road) I don't see why I'd look for a replacement.

Comments about Road Runner RR2EB Boulevard Series Bass Guitar Gig Bag:

Pretty good gig bag! I have a short scale bass, but there is plenty of room for a full size bass. Nice padding and plenty of room for extras like my music and cables. It even has a zipper pocket for my cell phone and keys so I don't have to bring my purse in. Worth the money!

Great bag for the money, in fact I'd spend more but didn't have to... well made and should make it through the abuse these bags go through.

For something you can travel around with, this was pretty nice. Pockets to stuff things into, and enough padding to protect your bass.
