The Remo Pinstripe Clear Bass Drum head is made from two 7-mil plies with an overtone-reducing agent between them at the outer edge. It gives you an internal muffling system that dampens unwanted high frequency overtones for warmer resonance.

Use this on my 16" bass drum with reversed beaters and it's great.Deep sound.I love it.Remo is the only head I use.
This head sounds good. Simple and it works. I play metal so I want the "click" sound, which is putting pillows touching the heads then turning the beaters around to let the plastic part hit the head. It sounds like a trigger now, and I can't be happier. Just get a beater sticker for the drum head and you'll be set.
There is nothing left in this head. I bought my 8 piece 1980's Tama Imperialstar probably 6 months ago, and i don't know how long the previous owner was using this head, but all i know is that i need a new one. The Ludwig Weathermaster head has held up superbly, but the pinstripe is just dead. It's like hitting a taut piece of paper.
