The Blasters Series snare wires have 20 medium-gauge wires that are evenly spaced standard coils. They are Pro quality snare wires that have been developed for high volume, high intensity playing and feature specially formulated, premium-grade steel-alloy wires on angled, copper-colored end clips.
Blaster snare wires feature bent end clips that are designed to create greater snare wire contact across the surface of the drumhead while offering increased activity, consistency, response and projection. If you are looking for extreme sensitivity that allows the snares to be active in influencing the sound, these are the wires you need.

Warranty Statement - Pure Sound Percussion snare wires are guaranteed against manufacture's defects for six months the date of original purchase. There is no unconditional guarantee against breakage since snare wires are constantly vibrating against the snare head, therefore it is impossible to accurately predict their live expectancy. In order to get the maximum usage out your Pure Sound snare wires, please refer to the information on proper mounting techniques.
SIX MONTH GUIDE LINE
Snare which have broke within six months from the date of original purchase may be returned for examination and possible replacement under warranty. If our examination deems that the snare wire is defective, a replacement will be issued at no charge, providing that the snare wire shows no sign of mistreatment or improper use. Our experts here at the factory try to be more than fair in making evaluations. The examination process takes approximately two weeks from the receipt of snare wires. Replacement snare wires will be shipped as soon as they become available from our inventory.
RETURNED SNARE WIRES TO SENDER
All snare wires which do not meet the warranty guideline will be returned directly to the sender. Snare wires that have been abused, i.e.: not mounted evenly, dropped, uneven mounting hole wear, excessive force used, kinked, etc., and snare wires that are over six months old, will be returned. Snare wires that have been previously replaced, used in lease program, or purchased second-hand, are excluded from this warranty statement. All returns must be accompanied by: 1) A Return Authorization (RA) Number issued by contacting the Pure Sound Percussion Company, and 2) A photocopy of the original numbered and dated sale on store letter head, in order to be considered for replacement. I replaced the stock 20-strand snares from my 13x6" Pork Pie Piglite Acrylic with the 13" 20-strand blasters and wow, these are awesome! The sound I got wasn't that much louder, but it is extremely crisp and the rimshots are amazing. Ghost notes need a little bit more velocity behind them to get the full snare sound but still sound great. These are perfect for anyone looking to give their snare that loud, spine-tingling crack. Surprisingly, these wires still allow my snare to play jazz perfectly fine.
I bought these snare wires a little while back, hoping that they wound improve the sound of my snare drum. compared to my old twenty strand wires that came with my snare, they are slightly better, but not a whole lot. They ring a little less and sound better than my old wires, and make my drum sound a little warmer, but they are no louder, not much more sensitive, or anything extremely noticeable, but they sound good, and they are a slight improvement from my old ones. if you have terrible sounding snare wires, then I would recommend these as a replacement, but if you're looking for something better than what you already have, and what you have is good, then don't bother. to the musically declined these would sound exactly the same as a cheap 20 strand snare wire, but if you compare very closely, the differences are there.
