The ProLine PL48 Conductor/Orchestra Sheet Music Stand is a perfect music stand for students and professionals. It features a popular design with a hands-free clutch and has plenty of room to hold enough sheet music for an entire performance. The music stand's rugged construction and durable, non-reflective powder coat finish ensures years of trustworthy service.
These ProLine stands are fine for what I needed - stage stands that are pretty much set in place and almost never moved. THESE ARE NOT MANHASSET STANDS! Don't make the mistake of thinking they're just like Manhassets. They aren't. The tops are made of thinner metal, the sliding action up and down is very stiff and the overall feel of the stand is somewhat flimsy. If you need a stand to re-adjust, move up and down or move around all the time, spend the extra bucks and get the Manhassets. If you need some extra stage stands that will be pretty much set and left alone, these stands are perfect for that.
It's a very nice stand, at a great price. Has only one plastic part, the hinge, where attaches to the post, cracked when tightened up. other than that the stand is perfect. will try to get a repl hinge.
