This drum has a shell made of a 50/50 blend of maple outer and birch inner (4 plies each). Get the warmth of maple and the bite of birch with this snare. The venting on this drum gives it a dry tonal characteristic to keep overtones to a minimum.

The hardware includes Pork Pie proprietary hourglass lugs, 2.3mm triple-flange hoops, high-quality snare wires and Remo heads. This drum loves to be tuned up high though it works in any tuning range.
