Best lower quality Bronze cymbal!!!

It's true!!! There is NO crash out there, for this price, that will sound NEARLY as good as this beauty!!! Paiste has done it again and made a really high quality cymbal for a very low price!!! The bell on this, is the TRUE CUTTING BELL!!! It's bell is even better than the bell on my Sabian B8 Ride!!! A must have for beginners!!!

PST5's are awesome!

it's true. pst5's really do sound great for their price. i got the 19 inch crash. the sounds between it and my 16" thin crash contrast perfectly! however, not so much for my ride. since my ride is 20" and my new crash is 19", they have VERY close crash sounds. that's the only reason i rated it four stars. probably my fault haha. but definitely recomended. just have a 21 or 22" ride and you'll be fine!

19" pst 5 Crash Cymbal

I bought the 19" version of this cymbal online through this website a couple of days ago. When I got it via mail today, I was pumped to go to my set and try it out. As soon as I started playing with the cymbal, I knew something wasn't right. It was completely overbearing everything else. Although it sounds good by itself and maybe with the other pst 5's, but it sure didn't with my Zildjian ZXT Titanium hi-hat and my ride cymbal. If you're looking for a REALLY projective sound (almost gongy if hit hard enough) then go for it, but if you're looking for a more subtle approach to your drum style, then I say pass.
