Easy to use, setup well

Comments about Neutrik 48-Point TRS Patchbay:

For the price and construction, you are getting a good product. It is easy to have normalized and de-normalized slots, you simply unscrew 2 screws on the front and flip over the cartridge for the selected channel to the normalization you desire, with grounding options. If you are a pro studio, you are going with a stronger construction patch bay that requires soldering. If you just have a semi-pro to home studio, this patch-bay is plenty good. If you know how to set up the back of the bay well, it will save you loads of time getting audio to your components quickly with a simple patch of a 1/4" cable on the front. Thus, never having to get the backs of your components again!

You get what you pay for

Comments about Neutrik 48-Point TRS Patchbay:

I've own this patchbay for almost a year now and it has been nothing but a headache. All the TRS jacks are mounted on a PCB - 4 per card - and 5(out of 24)have stopped working. They don't feel solid and and they move around A LOT upon plugging and unplugging patch cables. Also, some of the jacks are downright difficult just to plug into. Pros- Flipping the cards makes for easy normalling - Nice grounding options - Solid metal chassisCons- Build quality of the cards is poorSave up your money and get a TT/Bantam patchbay

Well built and flexible

Comments about Neutrik 48-Point TRS Patchbay:

This is a great patchbay if your are constantly patching your gear. One of the best features it has is the ability to invert ports without having to unmount the whole rack. You can take its face off and do it right there.

Very Good Unit!

Comments about Neutrik 48-Point TRS Patchbay:

I recently got this unit and it's great and it sounds really clean and good, but it's a bit hard to connect the inserts other than that a solid unit.Very happy with it

Comments about Neutrik 48-Point TRS Patchbay:

This bay is awesome, easy to change inputs. I have 2 in my studio and am going to get 2 more. I definetly recommend it. The only thing (may be very wierd) is that the identification strips are clear im guessing they want me to lay tape on it or something. Other than that portion its a great bay, I guess ill get a silver pen or whatnot.

Good idea, but a little disappointing ...

By NightOwl58

Comments about Neutrik 48-Point TRS Patchbay:

OK-we can all agree that Neutrik supplies the best connectors, but their accessories are alost impossible to get, and lack critical features. Unit literature advertises 'send/receive' modules (to replace Y-cables for INSERTS), but these are simply NOT SOLD! They do not support any NORMALIZATION (like the other TRS-TRS modules), and are not shipped with the PATCHBAY. So, bottom-line ... they don't come with the device, can't be purchased (expect in 16-point PATCHBOX), and even if they could, they don't perform as needed.
