The EX-DC features a semi-hollow laminated flame maple back, top, and sides with a mahogany block running the entire length of its body helping to fight feedback at higher volumes. This and its dual gold Kent Armstrong humbuckers make this guitar extremely versatile, able to span multiple musical genres from jazz to rock n' roll like only few guitars can. Other features include a gold Tune-o-matic bridge and Stairstep Tailpiece, gold Grover Super Rotomatic tuners, bone nut, and Switchcraft input jack.
