Get your combo amp off the floor for better monitoring, sound projection, and access to controls.

If your knees had ears, then maybe you'd be able to hear yourself play with your combo amp sitting on the floor. But that's not the only reason you need an On-Stage Pro Tiltback Amplifier Stand. With your combo amp up off the floor and angled towards your ear, not only can you hear yourself without having to constantly turn up and increase stage noise, your amp also has better projection to the audience. You also gain easy access to your controls. No more bending over and mooning the audience while you make adjustments. One more benefit; nobody accidentally kicks in your grill cloth or guitar speaker on a crowded stage.

The strength and versatility of this stand comes from the double clutch disk that allows you to remove and rotate the support arm assembly. The solid steel double stamped 3" disk allows for a secure locking position every time! The A-Frame base with 1" square tubing construction will adjust its floor spread in order for you to get the most support under your amp. Ridged end caps keep all metal surfaces off of the ground and act as a shock absorber.

An excellent product. Very stable. Adjustment knobs (height, angle) have lock-notches, not friction, very smart design, can't slip. Perfect for my very directional small combo amp (32 lbs, 10" speaker)--I wouldn't put anything much bigger than that on it, 60 lbs is probably its real limit. Light, folds up small, compact in use. Puts my amp at a good height (about waist high, I'm 6'3"), tilts to any angle. Wish I'd gotten one years ago, it makes such a difference--I can hear myself now wherever I play, and I don't have to bend over.

As a solo fingerstyle guitarist, I use a small Ultrasound amp (I have had for about 10 years or so). I have been doing a few small gigs at local art galleries etc and with the amp on the floor or even tilted up from the floor, but the sound did not go far once people started yacking and making noise (anyone who plays these gigs knows we are just wall music anyhow) I could not hear myself playing. With this little sturdy stand I can stand close by and hear myself well enough to do some on the fly live looping and hear everything I am playing and the people can hear it as well. That of course means more CD sales to buy more gear! :-) This is a great little stand and sturdy enough if it gets bumped things are not going to fall over.

  • Convenient & strong

This amp stand is best combination between portability and strength. If you want something SUPER-secure, you might want to use something bulkier and something that takes longer to install. In terms of portability, it is probably the best amp stand out there (although I wish it was even more portable!), and the durability and strength seems to hold up extremely well also. There's nothing else I would get.
