I Needed a simple interface with a few ins and outs to complete my home studio. At first it met my expectations and as time passed I acquired more and more gear and The Komplete 8 handles it all! Just earlier today my buddy was here playing guitar through the interface and Let me tell you, it sounded soooooo crisp and clean. Buy this! It also came with cubase LE 5 (i dont use it) as well as Traktor and Elmements!
I am so impressed with this product I do not know where to begin.
Software works great, well constructed, sound quality is awesome, plenty of ports in and out. Great for portable recording on a laptop. Works great through headphones and through my amplifier. I could go on and on.
Using cubase 6 elements, studio drummer(kontact), maschine mikro, and guitar rig. Thoroughly impressed with Native instruments, would recommend to anyone.
This is a perfect tool for home recording.I'm using it with SonarX1 and everything works.I can now hear what I'm recording through my microphone.My direct input for guitar has no noticeable latency.I run the device outputs through my home theater and set the volume knob at around 1-2 O'clock and that's plenty loud.Easy setup and software recognizes device.My only issue was with trying to register the unit.I was getting a "serial number invalid" message.After contacting support and waiting a week,everything got resolved.The hardware is excellent.I recommend this product.
