I primarily use this microphone to record because my singer owns microphones. This may not be the most advanced mic you'll find, but it will certainly get the job done. It's terrific for the price you pay. I've miced it up to guitar amps, acoustic guitar, and vocals, and they all sound great! Great purchase everyone, let it be known.
I'm a singer and guitarist in a band and this is a great mic for the price. If you don't drop it throw it around and abuse it overall it should hold out. and if you do it's cheap as hell to replace (as far as stands wires and the mic)
Great sound. The on/off switch is great to have. Works great for live shows and in the studio. Doesn't pick up any residual sound. Don't let the cheapness of the price fool you, that's a bargain buy for the products worth.
