Strong on the outside, soft on the inside--an excellent wood shell case, especially for the price. Black plush interior. Fits F-style instruments.
I got this case because it was cheap, and you get what you pay for. It would not fit my Fender FM-63S mandolin. I had to take out the box in the middle in order for it to fit. Other than that it is just an okay case. If your looking for quality, spend a few extra bucks for a nicer case.
I ordered this case as used, it show up brand new with the tags still on. Not saying that will happen to you, but i would have been fine with a ding on the case, but this thing was obviously brand new. I'm using to house my F style Epiphone MM-50 and it's a tiny bit snug, but not too snug. This case comes highly recommended from me, especially being a hardshell case for that price.
The padding inside the case does not seem to line up with the features of the F-style mandolin. I will be returning it to our closest Guitar Center to see if we can get one that fits better. I'm thinking that the lining inside of this one was just made incorrectly.
