Rugged square-tube construction. Adjustable neck support. Super stable design.

Great stand. A sturdy, professional looking stand that really transforms your guitar from something you keep in a case in your closet to something you can now really show off and take pride in. Has 2 foam hooks on the bottom to hold the body, and one on top to hold the neck. The neck rest also has a rubber "lock/stopper" on it that makes sure the neck won't fall out in the event that someone bumps into it. Adjusts to fit your necks length, as do the legs to fit your guitars body. My only gripe with it is that it's not exactly level, or at least mine isn't. When you tighten up the screws to lock the legs in place, it must lift one of them up a little bit, because the stand rocks a tiny bit. This is nothing to be concerned about though...more of an annoyance really. It's not gonna fall over in place or anything like that. Also, I recommend you have an Allen wrench and pliers handy to assemble it. I definitely recommend this stand for anyone serious about the care and maintenance of their guitar.
This was purchased to hold my bass at church for worship. It is very solid in construction and not prone to tipping like other stands can. The strap holds tightly although I don't usually use it as it takes 2 hands to position correctly. A great price for a quality stand!
It may be great for a lespaul shaped strat. I am shocked at what I got in the mail, from reading the past reviews. This thing is FAR from sturdy for me. Setting my Guitar in it, causes it to flip over backwards. No amount of adjusting or tightening fixes it. Do yourself a favor and try it out in the store first. It is too risky for me as it tips over backwards at the touch of a pinky. One of the problems is because the A frame legs do not spread apart far enough. Also unless your guitar body is rounded at the tail, any points will hit the floor as the leg height is NOT adjustable. It didn't smell, the rubber coating felt like quality and covered all the parts that touch the guitar. The locking strap is easy to take on and off (if your holding the neck or else it tips over when your hand touches it). Avoid this unless you try it out first.
