Description
These Morgan jazz tenor saxophone mouthpieces are made from the finest pure hard rubber. The mouthpiece rubber's formulation is exclusive to the Morgan Company and is the same formula used by the top mouthpiece makers in the 1920s-1950s, with no synthetic additives.
The Morgan Jazz Model Mouthpieces are traditional-style standard mouthpieces with round chambers and low rollover baffles. These are made to reflect the styles of popular traditional mouthpieces from the 1940s - 1960s. This model is made of an exclusive pure 100% hard rubber formula. The mouthpiece castings are created exclusively for the Morgan Company using Morgan tooling. The castings are then completely finished by hand to exact specifications.
These are available in Medium (M), Medium-Large (ML), Med-Large/Large (MLL) and Large(L) chamber sizes. The Medium Chamber produces a bright, brilliant and centered tone. The Medium-Large Chamber produces a darker core tone with more edge than the L Chamber. The Med/Large-Large chamber produces more volume and projection than the L model with similar tonal characteristics. The Large Chamber produces a warm, deep and rich tone.
