Get top quality electronics, and vintage style components in this Modtone pedal

The Modtone MT-AD Delay Effect Pedal features an exclusive analog circuitry coupled with a PT-2399 processing chip. This unique hybrid combination delivers a warm lush sounding delay reminiscent of the solely analog circuits of yesteryear without the unnecessary bulk or excessive price. Housed in a compact sealed corrosion resistant metal chassis that's built to last, the MT-AD delay pedal boasts a simple 3 knob configuration that enables you to custom tailor your sound for maximum performance and starts with a screaming blue LED light that lets you know you're armed and ready.

The "Time" knob (130ms to 350ms) allows you to go from a quick doubling effect all the way to vast and expansive bliss while the "Repeat" knob lets you control the amount of regeneration from zero to all out never-ending chaos. Twist the "Mix" knob to control the blend of your wet/dry signal for just a touch of effect or crank it up for a full blown Floyd-ish wash.

The Modtone MT-AD Vintage Analog Delay, like the whole family of ModTone guitar effect pedals, features period correct vintage style components, smooth linear taper pots, high impact switches built for the floor and top quality jacks for optimum tonal transfer. Get Mod baby.

This pedal is really worth getting with the sound and the effects. Usually I am not a big fan of Modtone but for this pedal I really give them props. Even though it may not have a tap tempo the knobs are really easy to use for me so. Of course there will be always higher end pedals out there but what I am saying is for the price and delay pedal I think they need to raise their price a bit higher. The sound is very neck to neck with MXR Carbon Copy except without the Modulation knob. =]

  • Ehh... I suppose it's nice

First off, its delays are pretty useful for my style of playing (post-rock : explosions in the sky, this will destroy you, god is an astronaut, etc) and the simplicity of the pedal is phenominal. Second, (which is devistatingly disappointing) there is a fuzzy, wave-like sound and there is no delay if any of the knobs are maxed out displaying the pedal's cheap construction and wiring. I appologize if the mt-ad i recieved was a lemon, but its just annoying to have little problems cause so much frustration. Ok pedal... if it was half the price.
