MEINL Pure Black Hardwood Cajon with Natural Frontplate

The Meinl Pure Black Hardwood Cajon offers solid hardwood resonating body and durable frontplate to orchestrate a full and rich sound with deep, boomy bass hits and cutting corner slaps. This cajon comes equipped with four stable rubber feet and is available with a matte black finish body.

Two sets of internal fixed snare wires brush against the playing surface to deliver a crisp, sensitive snare effect. This adds the dimension of a snare drum which plays an intricate roll in mimicking the sounds of a drum set. The natural finish, ultra-sensitive frontplate has excellent tonal response and allows for soft finger rolls to come through clear. Loosen or tighten the screws to adjust the top corners of the frontplate for your desired amount of "slap" and "punch" sound.
