This is not a small LED mover

Comments about Martin Professional RUSH MH 3 Beam Moving Head Fixture:

In terms of this thing, it is epic. The beams are pretty focused, but these are effect lights. The light itself comes from a pretty impressive Phillips lamp (don't get this if you don't have the knowledge or funds to maintain this beast), and it is a pretty cool color, as it floats around the 8k range for the most part. Seriously, it is extremely powerful. I have been told stories of this thing pointed at very close range full blast at our stage, and it is said that the stage decks started melting. Plus these things can take a beating. We leave these on the floor of our stage, and they've been moved, knocked over accidentally, etc. and they survive. I would go as far as to say that these could do a bit of touring. There's none of the "DJ" and "Sound Activated" mode in this thing, it is a real programmers' fixture. If what you want is a small/medium sized moving head to look cool that you don't need to sit for hours at a light board and program, go for something like a Chauvet 350. If what you want is something that is professional-grade, but costs a fraction of a Martin MAC, High End, Varilite, etc. I'm not going to say for a second that I'd put this up against a MAC Viper or a VL4000, but in terms of lower wattage, its really nice. This may be cool in a school or a church looking to give people experience with professional-type gear, or a medium sized venue looking for some effect lights on a budget.
