Every Marshall fans should own this little beast! The tone is Mashall all the way. Great ballsy overdrive tones and this little half stack can actually get loud! The clean channel is not that clean but usable, but then again it's a Marshall! I've been playing Marshall amps for more than 18 years and this mini half stack delivers the goods in a small package. I'm getting the full stack model next time!
The first time i played this little fellow. i was amazed. i finally got the great tone i'd always wanted for when i played some 80's metal like Ac/Dc. I was astounded. but,this little guy is pretty small, and its bark is really loud. so it might blow. sure enough after only a day of playing,it doesn't sound the same. Even the guy at guitar center told me it blows fairly easily. So if your gonna get this, don't put it all the way up,keep it at least at volume 6 or 7 if you want it to keep its quality. Its still pretty loud at 6 or 7. Just a helpful tip.
I use this amp all the time when I don't feel like lugging my line 6 spider 4 around with me. Great little amp, especially when I plug in my line 6 pocket POD express, the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I had to put a little piece of cardboard to get the battery to work, although the battery it came with has lasted me for a month.I am very happy with this little practice amp and I will buy more Marshall's in the future as this is my first Marshall amp.
