Great Affordable Head
I was looking at Mesa Boogies and Marshall amps at guitar center, played this and FELL IN LOVE, sounded just as good or better than most of the higher priced amps, has good crunch and a great palm mute (most amps lack the good palm mute). I went back and played it multiple times. The effects are a great EXTRA. It comes with 5 Digital Effects: Reverb, Chorus/Delay, Chorus, Delay, and Flange. If you have the money I strongly recommend playing this through a 1960 AV Vintage 4X12, sounds AMAZING, I?ve heard nothing like it. The only amp I would buy over this is the Marshall JCM2000 Triple Super Lead 100 Head (the tubes give it a little better sound for the clean channel) and that's if I had the money. I would also put that head on the 1960AV cab. It?s the best solid-state amp I have heard so far for a harder more rock sound. GREAT AMP AT A GREAT PRICE!

I got this amp about a year ago with the 4x12 cab that came with it and i thought it was cool at first, but theres a few problems. 1st of all, the distortion just sucks. I have trouble getting a decent distorted sound out of it even with a distortion pedal in front of it. 2nd, the clean channel. there is no volume on the clean channel, so if you want a decent sound, you need the gain way down, which extremely limits the volume of the amp. so the sound isnt great, but on the bright side, its reliable, cheap, built well, and the fx are sometimes fun to play around with, but if you have extra money, buy a tube amp.

Alright, so i bought this head with the cab as a half stack about 5 months ago.... now, its making a feedback hum/buzz which is very very loud and i have only played one gig with it and some practices....it is not a durable amp. in my opinion, if you want a great lasting amp, go with vox. I am getting the vox VT100, and im putting it on my marshall cab and trading in the head. Overall, im not pleased with this at all.

I never liked onboard distortion I can never get enough gain without unwanted sound. I use this amp on the OD1 channel with the gain at 1/4 up along with my Boss Metal Zone. The contour feature which I havent seen on amps untill lately so its either new or I've been out of the hardware game for too long. I think this amp would fit the needs of any musician granted its not tube it had a FDD button which emulates a valve driven amp, I just find it adds more volume and fullness to the original sound. It screams and it sings AWESOME DEAL!!!
ehh i didnt like it

This amp sounds pretty good if your playin in your room, it doesnt get very loud and doesn't sound good loud anyway, i played a show with a friends and it sounded horrible, muddy and very distorted. I seriously wanted to throw this amp into a wall after i heard it.

ok so i bought this amp today and i took it out of the box and it was white, i was a little bit shocked cause i had no idea it even came in white but that a different story, and the white looks really cool in my opinion. The head itself is a good amp a lot of settings and different tones and a nice clean not great but good. The OD1 channel is an ok distortion but the OD2 channel is way!! better if you have petals to add with that channel it's great. While cranking up the volume it can get a lot of feedback but with a simple noise suppressor this amp is great it is very loud and has everything you need to play a full show.
Perfect!

I've owned this amp since december and let me tell you it rips! The clean is ultra smooth and warm. Not a huge fan of the distortion but i have this bad boy hooked up to the boss mt-2 and a boss eq. Blows away every single amp out there for the price. I would recommend to anyone for a home, recording of live amp!
