Marshall 1960V 280W 4x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet Angled

Just absolutely amazing sound!

i play this cab threw a marshall 210h. the sound.. i cant even put into words. ive played for 10 years threw a lot of hi-end cabs. this beats all of them hands down. you can crank up the levels and still get a nice crip sound. they handle anything you can throw at them and still sound amazing! after purchasing this cab.. i traded all my other cabs in and got another one! they are well built, a little heavy but the casters help out greatly. they are worth the money! every cent!

A quick glance at the specs wouldn't see like it, but this 1960 cab IS in fact loaded with Vintage 30's. The aftermarket Vintage 30 is rated by Celestion at 60 watts because it's aplication is not always known (closed back or open back cabinet) these speakers are EXACTLY THE SAME as the vintage 30, but Marshall has rated them at 70 watts inside their cabinet. That said...it sounds just as you would expect one of the most versatile speakers inside one of the best built cabinets to sound...AMAZING! It keeps your lows punchy, your highs will sizzle, and your mids will cut through the mix like no other. Compared to the G12t75's the Vintage 30's have a little more mids, and roll off on the highs and lows a little more, so it's really a matter of preference but I'd say the V30's is where that sonic bliss is at.

You will not be dissapointed with this cabinet. Quality built and great sounding. This one is a keeper.

This is the best cabinet you can buy period. I bought it for my son who plays lead guitar in my band. The speakers are not Vintage 30's though. If they were Vintage 30's it would be a 240 watt cab since Vintage 30's are 60 watts each. We took off the back cover and the speakers are Heritage Celestian Marshall Gold's! A 70 watt speaker! (hence 280 watt Cab)The celestian website list this as their most expensive speaker. I argued this at guitar center when I was buying the cab 1.5 years ago because I couldn't figure why it was listed as a 280 watt cab with vintage 30's. I pulled the back cover and found out for myself. EXCELLENT CAB!! The best we ever had. I have a 1960AX which has the Greenbacks which works great for rhythm behind my son. I'm thinking about one of these now!
