Another beautiful tube condenser from MXL. Warmly reviewed everywhere for years, the V69 has a new look with the Heritage Edition chassis. With the new "old" chassis, the V69 takes on a whole new vibe, hearkening back to the days of the early tube condensers. It offers a rich midrange, punchy forward character, and mix-ready vocals. Providing a winning combination of both crispness and warmth, the V69 is a must-have tool for the professional and home studio environment.

It is chiefly designed for vocals, providing a warm, rich sound that is suitable for male of female vocals, background or lead. The 12AT7 dual-triode tube delivers vintage tone and a transformerless design gives a crisp high end. It is aggressive and highly present, ideal for hip-hop and hard rock.

This mic ships with a lot of very cool extras as well, including a power supply to run the microphone, high quality Mogami cabling between the mic and the power supply and between the power supply and your input device, polishing cloth, windscreen, metal mic clip and a rugged aluminum case that holds everything. Superb sound, value and quality.
