This guitar is okay. but based on its price I would say it is great. The guitar was new and shiny when it was delivered. nothing broken or damaged. The shipping process was fast, I received the product on time. Some would complain about the strings; yes they go out of tune really fast but with time and after several tune it gets better. The key is to keep tuning the guitar as much as possible in the first days you receive it. Great product I would buy it again if I had to.
Okay, okay, so for a $50.00 made-in-China guitar, what do I expect, right? Well, there was no option to choose color that I could see when ordering online so assumed it would be no color- wood color, like the default picture on the web site page, but that was not he case. A red guitar showed up. Also, expect to have to tune UP (goes flat) every time you pick it up. My suggestion, for a starter guitar, maybe go up to at least 100.
I purchased this guitar for my son. It has a great tone and the finish is good too. For $50 bucks you can't beat it.
I picked up this Lyons Classroom Guitar a bit ago. It has a sturdy build and is fairly easy on the eye. I did notice immediately that the nylon strings that came with the guitar would not hold a tune. I replaced the strings with the D'Addario Classic Nylon set and that allowed the guitar to hold the tune far better. Minor adjustments will need to be made as the nylon streaches. The bridge and the nut are a bit high and may need to be adjusted at a guitar shop depending on personal choice. It comes with a bag that is pretty cheap but will do if it is simply used as a dust cover. If you want to travel with your guitar get a cushioned bag. Overall it is a good beginner guitar at a good price.
This is a really great buy. When I opened the package everything was in place and as I needed it. I got a 1/2 size one for my son who has just started guitar. It is great for a beginner and in his recital, I could tell his guitar sounded better than the others. Get this, you won't regret it.
I purchased this guitar for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. It is perfect for her until she gets bigger and and makes the decision to stick with it. At the present she loves the guitar. It is hard to keep in tune due to the nylon strings stretching. They are getting better the more they stretch. When replacing I will probably buy a little more expensive set of strings. The nylon strings are easy on these tender fingers. I was surprised at the sound when I tuned it. It has a good sound. Of course all guitar players know to get the great sound you have to spend a lot more money. I do not regret ordering this guitar.
This guitar was purchased for my two year old who is enamored with my Fender acoustic. I am not sure if he will grow to love to play, but this is a good place to start. (Rather than a toy one!) Hopefully, it will pique his interest in the next few years and we will upgrade; in the meantime, this is perfect.
Bought this as a gift for the granddaughter. With both metal and nylon strings, only the metal strings hold tune. For the low price I'm just hoping it will serve her for the time she takes to decide if she really wants to learn to play the guitar.
