I bought this product because my band needed a way to have monitors when recording. We didn't have the cash to buy floor monitors, so we bought this little guy and now we can all just listen trough headphones. It is crystal clear and doesn't distort and it gets REALLY loud. I actually liked the sound of it better than the sound of my recordings through my speakers. The headphones sound so much more clear. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
I picked up this headphone amp today and spent all day recording with it. The sound is surprisingly clear. It does have some noise and distortion at its highest volume levels, but the halfway point is so loud that you'll never need it very high.
You need something that will expand your headphone outputs, this unit is it. The sound that comes out of this little amp is big and clear.
