  • Best delay pedal on the market.

As reviewed by Matt Murray on 12/12/2007

I've played with other delay pedals including, the boss dd-3,dd-6 and giga delay and hands down the DL4 is much better! Apparently I've read some reviews that it breaks easily, well I've had no problem the last 2 years and I bought it used on ebay to a guy that was gigging with it heavily! Thats almost 5 years of heavy abuse, I'd say its pretty reliable. The delays are incredible, those that say they all sound the same well, you need you read and play with it a bit more. You can get U2 sounds, Angels & Airwaves, great lead delays, and I LOVE the auto-volume swell that sounds like a stringed orchastra! The loop sampler function is worth the value of the pedal itself.. I create loops and then just record them raw into garageband to save them for later! I've gotten endless compliments on my unique style that this pedal gives me. GET IT!

  • everyone's got one for a reason

Like others before me have already stated, this is simply an essential part of every rig. You wouldn't play without a tuner right? Well, that's kinda how this thing fits in. Great delay(s) and impressive convenient little looper. The thing that is crazy, is that some sounds you can get out of this thing, I wouldn't normally think of as "delay"...small notes suddenly exploding to life, nasty rolls and sweet sweeps. 4.0 on quality because the knobs can get a little loose in their motion...stop reading this...BUY IT!

  • Great Pedal

    As reviewed by on 10/11/2006

No rig is complete without one of these pedals. It has so many great delay sounds and makes them all very accessible. It is easy to use and the sound quality is very good. The loop feature really sets it apart from other delay pedals. I have never had a problem with this pedal and I expect to use it for years to come.
