So i first found out about this strap through James Hetfield of Metallica. I use in on my five les Paul's, on my Explorer, and on both my Firebirds. Nice and think to spread weight evenly over the shoulder, goes longer than you'll ever need it too! If i could, I'd put this strap on every guitar i own, but that becomes a bit pricey.

A high quality leather strap. It is very comfortable even with a heavier guitar. I plan on buying a couple more of these straps for a couple of new guitars I've recently bought. One by one I'm replacing all my canvas straps that are way less comfortable. I have this strap in 2", 3", and 4" size.

The opening picture shows what appears to be the 3" and 2" straps together, no matter what size you select. One might get confused by looking at the picture and think that two straps come with the order. Please change the picture to show a single strap and not two straps together. Makes no sense!!!

Once I discovered this strap, I've not bought anything else (I own 6 of them at this point). The 3 inch width provides comfort even when using my non-weight relieved Les Paul for 3 hour shows. The length is critical for me as well because I wear my guitars very low and I'm fairly tall (6' 1"); this is one of the very few that will allow a 60" plus length. The material feels nice, the stitching is sturdy, and all my straps have lasted years with no issues. If you need a long, wide, and rugged strap, give this one a try.

I dig my heavy guitars and play for hours at a time, so I like a wide strap. The 3" width is very comfortable. I'm also over 6' tall and wear my guitars very low, so I need a long strap, at least 59". This is the only leather strap I've been able to find that meets both criteria. I have six of them (for varied lengths and different colored strap locks; gold, silver, and black), and they have all stood the test of time. I highly recommend this strap.

Are Levy's leather guitar straps suitable for leaving in place on a guitar with nitro-cellulose finish?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
Levy's leather guitar straps are generally safe for use with nitrocellulose finishes if they are made of untreated, high-quality leather. However, some dyed or chemically treated leather straps—including some from Levy’s and other manufacturers—can react negatively with nitrocellulose over time, especially if the guitar is stored with the strap in contact with the finish for extended periods. Avoid leaving any strap in contact with a nitro finish inside a case for long periods, particularly under heat or humidity.
