LAGUNA GUITARS LAUNCHES ONE GUITAR, ONE TREE REFORESTATION INITIATIVE

Laguna Guitars, reflecting the passionate convictions of musicians, celebrates Earth Day by launching their new One Guitar, One Tree reforestation initiative. This plan involves planting one tree for every Laguna guitar made. In addition, Laguna continues to deepen its other practical efforts to reduce waste, recycle and conserve the planet s resources.

For decades, musicians have proudly been socially aware and urged others to take more action, advocacy and awareness in environmental matters. As musicians themselves, those at Laguna have always passionately supported that position, knowing that trees are an economical, long-term solution to many tough environmental problems, including air and water pollution, climate change, wildlife protection, habitat restoration and more. In partnership with AmericanForests.org and their Global Relief campaign, Laguna proudly plants a tree for each Laguna guitar made.

In addition, Laguna s shipping cartons are designed to provide maximum protection with a minimum of material. Their boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard that is also 100% recyclable, which they naturally encourage wherever possible. Also, in the interests of conservation, they have decided not to print glossy, heavyweight catalogs as millions from various companies end up in landfills every year. Instead, Laguna provides extensive information online at their website (www.playlaguna.com) and a catalog will soon be available as downloadable PDF s, allowing users to print only those pages they want.

As with the design and manufacture of their guitars, Laguna welcomes an open dialogue with musicians and encourages them to share their thoughts and ideas on environmental matters including Laguna s One Guitar, One Tree initiative and other earth-friendly plans. All such feedback can be directed to environment@playlaguna.com. Please visit PlayLaguna.com or AmericanForests.org for more information on the One Guitar, One Tree initiative and Global Relief campaign.

A big fat surprise

I walked in saw the Laguna, didn't recognize the name and paid no attention to it....played 4 or 5 other guitars, came back to the Laguna picked it up and was surprised by the weight of it....I played it through a Vox amp and really didn't need to go to any other amp...I fell in love with this guitar right away.....fast neck, great tones from the pickup selections and the push/pull knob really made the humbucker mellow out in the clean and crunch modes....didn't do anything with the other pickup configurations as far as I could tell, but I use the humbucker 95% of the time anyway....the only complaint would be the trem which can't be pulled up more than a whole step, if that, but I haven't needed to make elephant noises in years anyway!!!......I'm not sure if there is much difference in the 422 verses the 322 accept the flame job on the 422 which is gorgeous.....this guitar is worth your time and money--bottom line....oh, and can anybody tell me why my guitar doesn't have LE422 on the headstock??......all it says is "custom-carved custom design"...serial number on the back....but it's cool...I love this guitar and will play it forever.

Love it , but...

This is a great guitar. Its not too heavy, it looks beautiful and it plays even better. The thing i don't like about it is that the strings break somewhat faster than with a floyd and the bridge (at least on mine) has slowly been rising. I am sure this is my fault because of playing too many dive bombs, but i just felt i should say that too. Still this guitar beats a Fender anyday.

Great Guitar

I bought this guitar three months ago and was surprised at how easy it was to play. The neck is comfortable and it doesn't weigh as much as my Epifone Les Paul Studio. I love the trem, although I haven't learned to use it fully yet. The finish is beautiful. One thing I notice over the Epifone is that it stays in tune. I practice on it every day and it takes its beating from a beginner. I highly reccomment this guitar to eveyrone. It has a sweet tone and can compete with the best of all the others out there.

Laguna???

Ok i know this guitar personaly... If you can remember back 7-8 years ago there was a guy named Keith Brawley who used to work for for fender but he branched out over seas and was getting a lot of his material from Korea and mad the brawley guitars. I bought one of the firsh A122 threat (same color and finish as this laguna). The body and neck and headstock is exactly the same. Anyways all an all this is a very versitle guitar for different sounds. Recomend this guitar for anyone who loves sound itself.
